I mentioned my Woodland WIP a couple weeks ago. I had to frog most of September which bummed me out so I didn't touch it for almost two weeks. Got September and October done in a week. It's been hard to but this project down when I need to.

Time with Mom
I took my mom to look at pretties yesterday. I think I found two potential forever sewing machines.
First and my favorite is this Husqvarna Viking Opal 690Q. I love all the built in stitches as well as all the automatic features. This machine I have had my eye on for a few years and have tried it out several times while at Sew Creative here in Lincoln. The almost $2,000 price tag is what has stopped me from getting one.
The second one I just found while scoping out machines at Jo-Ann's. It is the Singer Legacy C440Q.
It has a much smaller price tag at just under $1,000.

A Bit Late
Our youngest son is in AFJROTC because he wants to join the Marines after high school. These are pictures of his first uniform dress day. I will be taking more this Tuesday because he finally got his uniform coat.
Woodland Sampler Update
I know it's already October but I had to frog most of September because I was off by one stupid stitch that affected the whole stitching area. I will be moving on to October right away though so that's not a bad thing. I love working on this piece. I think the flash washed out the B5200 wind swirls.
